Who we are

The Script Digest(“we,” “us,” “our”) is a publication of MkConsultantGroup INC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website at thescriptdigest.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide: If you contact us by email, subscribe to a newsletter, or submit a correction request, we receive the information you send (name, email, message content).

Automatic information: Our web server records standard log data (IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps). We use this to monitor site performance and detect abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies: We use first-party cookies to remember your preferences and affiliate-attribution parameters. We use analytics services (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) that set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Affiliate tracking:When you click an outbound link to a brand we have an affiliate relationship with, the destination site receives standard referral parameters identifying us as the source of the click. Our affiliate network partner (Katalys and others) may set cookies on the destination site to attribute subsequent purchases. These are the destination site's cookies, not ours.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the site, respond to inquiries, send newsletter communications (only if you opt in), detect and prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and measure the effectiveness of our editorial and marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers who host our site and provide analytics, under contract that limits their use to providing services to us; (b) affiliate network partners, limited to the aggregate click attribution data required for commission payment; (c) legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

All visitors: You can contact us to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to request correction, or to request deletion. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided information to us, they can contact us to request deletion.

Data retention

We retain log data for 12 months and contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry plus 24 months for record-keeping. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, and limited retention. No system is perfectly secure — please do not submit highly sensitive information through the site.

Changes

We may update this policy. Substantive changes are noted at the top of the page with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing periodically.
